Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Lushyard, operated by HYGGO PTY LTD, uses cookies and similar technologies on lushyard.com.au. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device when you visit. They help the website remember things like whether you're signed in and what's in your cart. We also use similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels and scripts, which work in a similar way. In this policy we call them all "cookies".

Some cookies are set by Lushyard ("first-party cookies"). Others are set by service providers we use, such as our payment providers ("third-party cookies").

How we use cookies

Essential cookies

These cookies are needed for Lushyard to work, and can't be switched off in our systems. They are used to:

• keep you signed in to your account
• remember the items in your cart
• process checkout and payments securely, including fraud-prevention cookies set by Stripe and PayPal
• protect the website against attacks and misuse
• remember your cookie choices

Preference cookies

These remember choices you make, such as your region or recently viewed items, to make your visit easier.

Analytics cookies

These help us understand how people use Lushyard – for example, which pages are visited, how people find products and where errors occur – so we can improve the website. Where possible, we use aggregated or de-identified information for this.

Marketing cookies

If we use marketing cookies, they help us measure how well our advertising works and show you more relevant Lushyard ads on other websites. We don't use these to show you ads from other companies on Lushyard.

How long cookies last

• Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
• Persistent cookies stay on your device for a set period, or until you delete them, so we can remember you on your next visit.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies in several ways:

• Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Check your browser's help pages for instructions.
• Advertising choices: you can also adjust ad personalisation settings in the accounts you use with advertising platforms and in your device settings.

If you block essential cookies, parts of Lushyard – such as signing in, your cart and checkout – may not work.

Personal information

Some cookies collect information that may identify you, such as your IP address or account ID. We handle this information in line with our Privacy Policy. Some of our service providers may process cookie information outside Australia.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the cookies we use or when the law changes. The current version will always be on this page.
